FlexAware® is:

Whether you are fit and active, mostly sedentary, disabled with chronic pain, or a professional athlete, you can benefit from FlexAware®.

FlexAware® movements are pleasant. There’s no equipment, so it’s easy to begin and easy to resume after a break. You can do it anywhere and anytime: on the floor or a bed, sitting or standing at your desk, walking down the street. FlexAware® is a sustainable approach to fitness.

A few minutes can bring real benefits:
  • Relieve pain,
  • Recover from stress,
  • Be more alert and focused,
  • Improve breathing, posture, and walking,
  • Increase flexibility, strength, stamina, and vitality,
  • Enhance skills in sports, dance, yoga, and other activities.

Mi-Time teaches a FlexAware® class on Fridays 11:35-12:35 in The Studio of the Cottenham Community Centre and during occasional workshops (available on request) and uses it to teach Pilates (FlexAware® Pilates).

Other sessions

Fridays 5:00-6:00pm in The Studio of the Cottenham Community Centre, Miranda teaches a Stretchercise class.

The perfect session to prepare for the weekend, focussing on stretching out all those muscles that got tight during the challenges of the work week and the busy commute. Start your weekend feeling relaxed!


Every first Saturday of the month, Miranda leads a Fun-Time session in the Oakington Pavilion (10:00-11:30am). Every month we do something different ranging from ultimate relaxation to aerobically challenged. Turn-up prepared for anything and find out what we will do this time (£10 per session).

The schedule for 2016 is:
9th January, 6th February, 5th March, 2nd April, 7th May, 4th June, 2nd July,
6th August, 1st October, 5th November.

There is no session in September and December.


Not as scary as it sounds!

Every 2 nd and 4 th Saturday of the month, in the Oakington Pavilion (10:00-11:30am).
A combination of Pilates exercises mixed with big movements (pulse raisers). After introducing all the exercises, we will alternate Pilates movements with more aerobic movements. At the end we take the time for a good stretch.
You can still adapt the movements to your own needs and work at you own level. You will get a good work-out! (£10 per session).

The schedule for 2016 is:
16th January, 30th January, 13th February, 27th February, 12th March, 19th March, 9th April, 23rd April, 14th May, 21st May, 25th June, 9th July, 23rd July, 13th August, 20th August, 10th September, 24th September, 8th October, 22nd October, 12th November, 26th November, 3rd December.
